The
HaeunJeongsa was founded in
1971 by the Venerable Great
Zen Master Jinje. The Temple
is the Buddhist seminary where
100-odd zen practicers are practicing
the Zen meditation all night
long every Saturday. The Temple,
the Buddhist head temple of
the Zen Buddhism of Korea, hosted
the "2002 Korea / China
/ Japan International Panca-parisad
Buddhist Grand Lecture Meeting"
on October 20, 2002, thereby
providing an opportunity to
publicize the Zen Buddhism of
Korea worldwide. |
